Remembrance Mass for the late Mark Casey

Seán, Declan, Catherine and the entire NUI Galway Students’ Union wish to thank and pay tribute to all the students of the University who assisted in the search for the late Mark Casey (1st Arts) in Limerick City, and were a massive support to Mark’s family and friends during what was a very difficult time. We also wish to thank the University community and the support services, especially Fr. Barry and Fr. Patrick, the Chaplains, for their compassion, assistance and understanding. Mark was laid to rest on Tuesday in his native Killeigh, Co. Offaly following his funeral mass. This coming Monday, 24th of March, Mass will be offered for Mark, his family, classmates, friends and all who were involved in the search at the Chapel of St. Columbanus, NUI Galway at 1.10pm. May He Rest In Peace. We also ask you to continue to remember in your thoughts and prayers Limerick Institute of Technology Students’ Union Vice President and Welfare Officer, Steven Kavanagh, who is still missing in Limerick, and his family and friends and Nathan Forde, from Galway, who is also missing, and his family and friends.
