This project will pilot a new student-led, interactive model at NUI Galway for promoting NUI Galway healthcare education and cancer awareness by engaging secondary school students interested in pursuing a medical related career.
This project aims to establish a Please Talk hub at NUI Galway to increase mental health awareness on campus, promote positive mental health, alert students and staff to the signs and symptoms of mental health difficulties, and encourage individuals to reach out for help when needed.
This outreach pilot project will invite 5th and 6th class students into the School of Psychology at NUI Galway and will use innovative technology to teach children about neuroscience in novel and fun ways.
