Create a Computer Game in 12 Hours
INSIGHT Centre for Data Analytics at NUI Galway, is bringing the GameCraft 2014 to Galway for the first time after it has been running in Dublin for years and all over the world. Gamecraft is a game jam, which means you and yours have a ludicrously short amount of time (12 hours) to turn an idea into a computer game.
It’s on Saturday May 10th from 9am to 9pm, in our conference room. It’s a great way to meet new folk, have some fun and most importantly make more games!
Please, do register hereand spread the word.

The decision was taken by a referendum of NUI Galway students last month. The referendum, which was called by The Palestine Solidarity Society asked students whether or not they agreed with the motion: “That NUI Galway Students’ Union actively supports the campaign of Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions against the State of Israel”. 65% of voters supported the motion.
