NUI Galway Students’ Union presents Al Porter

NUI Galway Students’ Union presents Al Porter and Support

We are delighted to announce that our first comedy gig of 2015/16 is Al Porter on Monday 14th September at 8pm in the O’Flaherty Theatre. Tickets are just €5 and are on sale from the SU Office (Mon-Fri 10am-5pm) and the SU Engineering Building desk (Mon-Fri 11am-3pm). Make sure you get your ticket as you don’t want to miss this gig!

Caution: This show is not for the easily offended!

Al Porter is one of Ireland’s most colourful comics. At twenty years old Al is quickly building a reputation as one of the country’s most uproarious and flamboyant talents. He had early success when after a mere three months he was a semi-finalist in the UK wide ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ competition in Edinburgh.
Since then Al has been a finalist and Audience Choice Winner in the nationwide Craic Attack competition, and a finalist in the Capital Comedy Club competition.
Whether playing to a raucous home crowd in Tallaght, or to more reserved London punters, Al’s disarming manner and camp ribaldry endears him to each audience.
