SU LIFE SKILLS

SU Life Skills

The Life Skills Programme run by the Students’ Union offers a chance to further your development outside of the academic world through classes in areas such as:

Sign Language, First Aid – First Aid Responder & Cardiac First Responder, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, Gaeilge, Barista Skills, Personal Safety & Awareness and Yoga.

These classes are provided at a reduced rate giving you a chance to learn a new skill which, in some cases, could save someone’s life. This is also a great chance to broaden your CV.

Please note that classes will only proceed if sufficient numbers of students sign up for same.

These courses are strictly for registered NUI Galway students.

Payment must be paid for all courses (where applicable) upon sign-up.

Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Fees, where applicable, must be paid at registration. You can sign up in the SU Office upstairs in Áras na Mac Léinn beside Sult (The College Bar) 10am-5pm Monday to Friday or pay by credit card by phoning 091 493570.
